I first have to give a huge shout out to photographer Michelle Wade for taking and sharing so many wonderful beauty and getting ready shots of this Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding. We so appreciate that! I had the pleasure of beautifying the bride, Jennier who is already drop dead gorgeous to begin with. Dana Bartone makeup and hair stylists Janina and Victoria were also with me to get the bridal party ready for this incredible vineyard soiree. The sun was shining, there were lots of smiles and laughs, but nothing beats the anticipation and being part of that moment. The bridal suite at Saltwater Farm Vineyard was open and airy with plenty of light which we always love for styling and doing makeup. There is just so much more than what you see here of this beautiful wedding so click here to see all the details on the Michelle Wade Photography blog. We were also in great company with an amazing team of vendors. We can’t wait to go back for our next Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding! – Dana

I could just gush for hours about Allison and her drop.dead.gorgeous Lace Factory wedding. The Lace Factory is such a unique and beautiful Connecticut wedding venue. It sits just along the Connecticut river and you can treat your guests to a trip on the Essex Steam Train! Allison doned the most absolutely perfect gown for this fall affair, and her sweetheart neckline with a lace overlay was just too perfect for words. The weather was absolute perfection. I added a pop of pink as a lip color and Allison was ready to go, all smiles and holding the most beautiful orange calla lilies you have ever seen. It was such a treat to finally see in pictures the 909 Stanley Steamer that I had heard about from Allison. The beauty does not end here, browse and take a look at the beauty shots, then click here and visit Carla Ten Eycks blog for all the details and see the amazing wedding vendors that came together to bring Allison’s dream wedding to reality.
We were honored beyond belief to be part of Jenn and Nitin’s day. We had the opportunity to be part of a day that perfectly blended Korean and Indian roots into a day full of culture, color, tradition and just simply the most unimaginable The Branford House Wedding. The day started with a Hindu ceremony infused with, reds, gold, incredible henna designs, brilliant florals followed by the most eloquent second ceremony on The Branford’s House elegant lawn all while overlooking the beautiful Long Island Sound. Indian weddings have become an absolute favorite here at Dana Bartone and Co. Besides the incredible colors, gorgeous Siri’s, Indian weddings give us the opportunity to work with bright, beautiful colors, incredible hair styles, I could go on forever. Then we got to be part of Jenn’s second look, that was both absolutely stylish and elegant. Thank you Jenn for having us be part of this incredible day and WellWed for featuring one of our favorite weddings of the year. We can’t wait for more of our Indian weddings this year and to kick start 2014 we will be exhibiting at the Indian Bridal Show in Burlington, MA on March 23rd. Come see us and share with any Indian brides to be. – Dana

“She acts like summer and walks like rain.” Be prepared to want rain on your wedding day after seeing our bride Meghan’s Candlewood Inn wedding by Studio 1923. Not only is rain good luck on your wedding day, I think none of us can deny it adds such a beautiful touch of romance. Standing cozy under an umbrella, two people so very in love and in these images you can almost hear the rain falling on the lake. A soft pink lip, long false lashes and a subtle pinch of pink blush makes Meghan’s bridal makeup perfect for a romantic bride. Where to begin with our bride Nicole and her perfectly planned backyard wedding. From the classic bun to her incredible Casablanca gown, Nicole was pure classic elegance. I just adore the fact that Nicole’s parents’ backyard was transformed into the perfect haven to start the rest of their lives together and continue to make memories. This stunning beauty also got us featured on one of our very favorite wedding blogs, Ruffled! What an honor. Have a look at some of our favorite beauty shots by Katie Slater Photography, admittedly another one of our very favorite people. Click here to see the beautiful feature on Ruffled.
